Oregano is one of the most important herbs in Mediterranean cuisine. The climatic conditions on Samos allow it to thrive particularly well here and give the plants an intense aroma.  It not only gives salads and cooked dishes a wonderful  taste but it also keeps you healthy.

Even in ancient times, the Greeks knew of its therapeutic value.  For example, oregano contains 12 times more antioxidants than an orange, as well as calcium, iron, magnesium, vitamins E and K.
